Riverside photography studio
Hi,
I’ve just published on my website a slideshow of my new photography studio on the Devon and Cornwall border. Sited in an idylic riverside location, it has a comfortable client area to discuss wedding and portrait commissions, view examples of my work and preview photos. I also have two studio spaces and exhibition gallery space as well as 16 acres of fields, woodland and river frontage for some amazing and creative portrait and pre-wedding photographs.
Cheers,
Michael

Hi, thanks for your post. It seems as if your lens works fine for individual portrait photos but just not larger group portraits. Ffrom what you’ve said it seems to be you need to look at your aperture – an aperture of f8 should be fine. Hope this helps.

Right now I’m in my first year of college, majoring in early childhood education. I’ve always been interested in photography but I never though of it as a career choice until now. But the thing is, I haven’t taken any classes and I’m not an amazing photographer, but I really do like it.. A LOT. and I’m thinking I’d rather do that than teaching. But I’m just wondering if at this point, considering I don’t have much experience with photography, would it be worth it to switch majors? Probably not, but I like it a lot. I really have no idea what it takes to become a good photographer and what’s involved in becoming a professional, thats why I’m asking. Anyone have any suggestions?

Hi,
I’d certainly consider your options. Photography as a career is extremely fulfilling, but involves hard work, determination and a smile! It also requires considerable investment. Good luck with your choices.
