What a great time I had photographing Abi & Paul’s engagement shoot prior to their Christmas wedding near Brixham, Devon later in the year. I’m sure you’ll all agree they look great and much in love.
I can’t wait to photograph their wedding day.
I was going through the many weddings I’ve photographed over the years and realised how exciting it is to view photographs with fresh eyes. Yes they all show my tell tale signs of painterly colour, use of ambient light and atmospheric quality but I can also see how my style and work has evolved.
This particular photo was from a winter wedding on Dartmoor. The day was cold but crisp and the marriage service started just as the light was fading. The reception was held on the high moor and the brides first dance was sung by the original composer and singer of a very well know and popular song – who also happened to be her uncle!
I’ll always remember it as it was amazing and reminds me again why I love weddings so much!

One of the last photos I edited from George & Jame’s lovely wedding near Cullompton in Devon. the new venue The Corn Barn was stunning as was the beautiful church at Cadleigh.They were also blessed with one of the warmest days of the year – in October of all months!

Getting ready and last minute preparations for Nicola & Paul’s wedding at St Mary’s Church, Tamerton Foliot in Plymouth, Devon followed by their reception at the beautiful Devon wedding location St Elizabeth’s House in Plymouth.

Wow the sun really did shine for George & James at the weekend! With one of the hottest days of the year – in October! The ceremony was held in the idylic setting of St Bartholomew Church in Cadleigh, Devon with the reception at the stunning new wedding venue of The Corn Barn near Cullompton.
What a wonderful time was had by all enjoying the last of the summer sunshine!
