The bautiful location of Pentillie Castle in Cornwall provided the perfect setting for Zoe & Greg’s Spring wedding day. Greg and his groomsmen were all relaxed and in control when I arrived – but looked forward to a quick Champagne tipple to steady the nerves! Zoe’s beautiful Sassi Holford designed wedding dress looked amazing and one of the prettiest dresses I’ve seen!

The couple had chosen the romantic bathing hut for their ceremony. Nestled on the banks of the Tamar River Pentillie Bathing hut offers a unique and intimate wedding venue. The emotional ceremony was followed by a stunning reception in the main house at Pentillie and the dancing lasted well into the evening.

Wonderful early Spring wedding at the Horn of Plenty in Devon

What a privilige to share Maggie & Mike’s intimate wedding of family and friends at the beautiful Horn of Plenty near Tavistock in Devon. There personally scripted vows were so heartfelt and didn’t leave too many dry eyes among the guests. The falconry display was a unique treat fro everyone and the evening was topped off by a wonderful display by the band.

Great Devon spring wedding near Tiverton

Wow! What fantastic weather Liz & Mark were blessed with for their wedding last month near Tiverton in Devon! The sun shone all day and the couple and their guests had such a wonderful time. From the ceremony at the idylic rural chapel to the beautiful Hartnoll Hotel the day went so well.

The bride’s vintage inspired theme and lovely individual touches shone throughout the day and the river setting of the Hartnoll Hotel offered a picturesque backdrop.

I thoroughly enjoyed the day photographing a couple so in love and their warm and loving family and friends.

Victoria & Simon’s engagement on a South Hams beach, Devon

Meeting up on Mothercombe Beach on a beautiful spring morning, Victora & Simon were ready with their lovely dog for a fun pre-wedding shoot. With the tide out the the estuary and beach was looking its best and we had a fun and relaxed hour. It was fab to hear how their wedding pland were coming along and I’m really excited about their summer wedding at the incredible Shilstone House near Modbury.

Faye & Mike’s engagement shoot on Bodmin Moor, Cornwall

Having booked the date for Faye & Mike’s engagement shoot at the Cheesering at Minions, high on Bodmin Moor we were all praying for good weather! And boy were we blessed! Waking to blue skies and bright sunshine we knew it would be lovely on the moor. Faye & Mike had chosen the location for their shoot where Mike had popped the question and it held a special spot in their hearts.

We had great fun as did their beloved dog and they loved the results. I’m so looking forward to capturing their wedding day.

Thurlestone pre-wedding shoot – Gemma & Alan

The recent engagement shoot I had with the lovely Gemma & Alan was such good fun despite the icy day we faced! The beaches and coastline at Thurlestone in Devon was looking beautiful and the winter light was just great for photographing. The engagement shoots are such a brilliant way to get to know a couple even better before their big day and to build a rapport. It definately makes them feel so much more comfortable about what to expect from the photography on the day as well as some great relaxed shots of the themselves – another lasting memory.
