I love it when I’m booked for a Langdon Court wedding. I’ve been photographing at this great Devon wedding venue for over ten years now and enjoyed seeing the improvements the owners have made. It was even better to capture the lovely Jessica & Adam’s special wedding day here too. The country house hotel is nestled in a secluded valley less than a mile from Wembury beach and the ocean. Being so close to the city of Plymouth, the hotel at Langdon is a popular wedding venue all year round. There are so many more photo opportunities now that the lake and garden improvements have been completed. The reflections on the lake are sublime. This was a beautiful Langdon Court Summer wedding.
Being a summer wedding and blessed with sunshine, Jessica and Adam were over the moon to be able to have their outdoor wedding ceremony. The new garden terraces and wedding ceremony pavilion is a fabulous addition to the hotel. Guests seated with a view down the valley and overlooking the lake is really stunning. The entrance of the bride through the trees adds a beautiful magical touch too. The sound of birds and the trees rustling in the summer breeze were perfect.
This fun loving couple not only planned a beautiful wedding ceremony, but a fun filled celebration with family and friends. Watching the bridal party and guests making the most of the bouncy castle was so much fun. Just perfect for documentary wedding photography.
With emotional speeches, a toppling cake cutting and fun filled dancing we were also blessed with a mini rainbow and stunning sunset photos to top off a magical Langdon Court summer wedding day in Devon.
