Beautiful Cornish wedding at Polhawn Fort near Cawsands
Not many places can beat a sunny August day in Cornwall overlooking the sea for a fabulous wedding day. The lovely Max & Lucy were blessed with fantastic summer weather and an amazing setting at the cliff top wedding venue of Polhawn Fort in Cornwall.
Overlooking the stunning Whitsand Bay, the Fort is perched on the cliff tops and offers stunning views and access to its own private beach. The service took place outside with breathtaking views of the scenery and Lucy looked beautiful as she walked down the aisle in the sunshine with blue skies behind. Following the service and drinks on the lawn we headed down to the beach for a quiet moment and the opportunity to take some really fab photos of the newlyweds. I particularly loved the moments I captured as Max & Lucy headed back up the path to the fort, such intimate and rich moments.
The wedding breakfast and speeches went down a storm with the family and guests before heading outside for Scandinavian lawn games and watch the sunset we were blessed with. And then it was on to the party. Wow! What a party it was too! The combination of great cocktails, fab jukebox and a wonderful group of people was a recipe for a great evening.
I’ll let the photos speak for themselves at this Polhawn Fort wedding and I can’t wait design their wedding album.
